In the 1963’s epic《Cleopatra》 the wig which worn by Elizabeth Taylor will be auctioned ,estimated auction price of $11,000.
This deep brown wave wig was mad by human hair,braids decorated with gold beads and gold.Elizabeth Taylor in the film is wearing it to persuade Caesar (played by Rex Harrison) to guide the entire empire.
After the whole film shooting is complete ,the wigs was kept by United Kindom Stanley Hall who made the epic film,then transferred to a Hollywood makeup artist.Now an antique auction house from Dallas,Texas, ready to sell starting price may be set around $11,000.

Margaret Barrett,a spokesman for the auction told reporters “Cleopatra” shot in Italy,all the wigs was made by world-renowned wig master Stanley Hall,this wig is play the most unique one. It brought back many memories”.Elizabeth Taylor have 10 different kinds hair,each hairstyle have three wigs.30 years ago,Stanley sold 40-45 wigs used in the film.Cleopatra played most characteristic .As long as you think of Elizabeth Taylor and 《Cleopatra》, your eyes will float on her wearing a wig
Elizabeth Taylor was just died,she was one of the great movie stars of the previous generation,This wigs can bring us many memories.
